Hotel Rivera Palace, Varanasi

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were very neat and clean, but the pricing was around 1500r per night. Despite being of good quality, they were noticeably dirty. The location was very good, just a stone's throw away from the Ganges River, making it perfect for a quieter stay. However, it was a bit far from the main areas. The dining was satisfactory, but not very adequate for western tastes, and a bit chaotic as all the food, washing up, and supplies were on the 4th floor. Overall, it's a decent stay with some ups and downs.

The hotel is conveniently located in a narrow typical Benaras lane, very close to major temples and the ghats. The rooms are well furnished with refrigerators, but it can get noisy with workers talking loudly outside early in the morning. The staff is friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall stay experience.
